Located near the Lee Hill peak, Boulder Heights is a rural neighborhood of winding dirt roads that lead to rustic homes. The remote mountain town is surrounded by forests and grasslands, offering the quiet that comes with seclusion. “In the mountains up there, people are looking for more space and privacy,” says Real Estate Associate Nick Duncan with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, who is also a Boulder Heights resident. “People also like being connected with nature, and don’t mind the extra work it takes to get up there.” Most homes in Boulder Heights are spread out along dirt roads, with plenty of land to go with them. “On the very top, there are some houses with 30 to 40 acres, so it’s a good amount of land,” Duncan says. Multi-story mountain homes are common, with wrap-around porches, picture windows and wooden siding.
